Write for Us
We'll get to the how, but first let's talk about who.
The beauty of flash fiction is that it's a single, complete story tucked within 1,000 words. It's not easy to do well, but once you get the hang of it, you can find your groove.
You don't need to be an award-winning author (though you can be!). Anyone can toss their hat into the ring. We simply want great stories to capture the imaginations of our YA-loving audience.
At this time, we don't pay for stories. This is a serious labor of love. We can give authors a publishing credit, plenty of social media time, and recognition as you continue on your clean YA writing journey.
Now for the what.
We're aiming to publish three issues this year.
The spring and fall issues will feature only adult authors, so we're looking for the 18-plus crowd that writes for our young adult audience. The issues will also have a featured author and a staff story.
Summer 2026 will be a teen-takeover issue for summer 2026, which means we'll highlight authors ages 12-18. Stay tuned, friends!
